El
tercer día fue muy interesante porque yo aprendí más en el día que yo aprendí
en los dos últimos días conjuntos. Nosotros montamos el metro
a la estación del autobuses y Maestra estaba preocupado porque nosotros
necesitamos abordar el autobús en un
hora especifica y nosotros íbamos atrasados. Pero nosotros tuvimos suerte y
llegamos al autobús con pocos segundos de sobra. El autobús nos transportó al
Escorial. Cuando nosotros llegamos al Escorial, nos dividimos en grupos con
todos del grupo cuando ellos no miraron. ja ja ja ja ja!
The
third day was very interesting because I learned more in the day that I learned
in the last two days combined. We rode the subway to the
bus station and Maestra was concerned that we need to board the bus at a
specific time and we were running late. But we were lucky and got on the bus
with a few seconds to spare. The bus transported us to the Escorial. When we
arrived at the Escorial, we split into groups with I took pictures with each
member of the group when they did not
look. ha ha ha ha ha!!!
El líder de la gira, Diego fue increíble para explicar todas las cosas muy bien. Primero él explicó que había usado para cinco cosas. Las usas son un monasterio, una basílica, un palacio, un panteón, y una biblioteca. Un cosa que yo creí que muy interesante fue el arte en el techo de la biblioteca hay los siete temas de artes liberales. Pero habían dos que no estaba en el techo y fue especial. Son Teología la estudio de religión y dios y filosofía el estudio de lógica y razón. Diego explicó como los estudios chocan. Filosofía desafía las reglas en sociedad y en general. Teología sigue las reglas con ningunas preguntas.
The tour leader, Diego was amazing for explaining everything very well. First he explained that the Escorial had been used for five things. The uses were a monastery, a basilica, a palace, a cemetery, and a library. One thing I thought was very interesting art on the roof of the library there are seven liberal arts subjects. But there were two that were not on the roof and were special. Theology is the study of religion and God and philosophy the study of logic and reason. Diego explained how studies collide. Philosophy defies the rules in society in general. Theology follows the rules with no questions.
Luego nosotros fuimos a la basílica y Isabela (la hija de maestra) explicó los enfermedades en el siglo medieval.
Then we went to the basilica and Isabela (the daughter of Maestra) explained diseases in the medieval times.
Luego fuimos al panteón en que los cuerpos de los reyes y reinas están. También yo aprendí el orden de los reyes en España después de Ferdinand y Isabela. También nosotros visitamos el panteón de infantes. Habia un infante, el hermanos de Felipe II, que se llamaba don Juan. Él tenía muchas novias - un anillo para cada novia. jajaja!!!! El Escorial fue muy interesante y yo creo que regresaré en el futuro.
Then we went to the cemetery where the bodies of kings and queens are. I also learned the order of the kings in Spain after Ferdinand and Isabella. Their was a prince, the brother of Philip II, who was referred to as Don Juan. He had lots of girl friends -one ring for each girlfriend. jajaja!!! We also visited the pantheon of infants. The Escorial was very interesting and I think back in the future.
Comimos en un restaurante delicioso en la plaza del pueblo el Escorial. Muchos alumnos comieron paella, calamares, bistec y algunas comieron pulpo.
We ate at a delicious restaurant in the town of el Escorial. Many kids ate paella, calamari, steak and some even ate octopus.
Por la tarde fuimos al Museo de la Reina Sofia y vimos la obra de arte de Pablo Picasso - Guernica. Maestra nos explicó que la Guerra Civil en España sirfió como practica para las tecnicas modernas de guerra. Guernica es un pueblo civil en el norte de España que el dictador Francisco Franco bombardeo. El bombardeo mató a muchos civiles que eran inocentes.
In the afternoon we went to the Museo de la Reina Sofia and saw the masterpiece by Pablo Picasso -Guernica. Maestra explained to us that the Spanish Civil War was the test ground for modern warfare tactics that would be used in World War II. Guernica was a civilian town in the north of Spain that the dictator Francisco Franco bombed. The bombings of a civilian population murdered many innocents.
Tambien vimos arte moderna muy guay en la terraza del Museo Reina Sofia.
We also saw cool modern art on the roof top of the Museo Reina Sofia.
